 Aromatherapy
Essential oils may be introduced with any type of massage to enhance the overall benefits. Essential oils alone have many healing properties and when added to the numerous benefits of massage, the overall therapeutic results are greater than either method alone. Your therapist will suggest a few oils with specific benefits for your particular needs, but your personal response to any oil is the final arbiter of what your essential oil blend should contain.
 Infant Massage Classes
Infant Massage is a preventative program that provides loving interaction, bonding, and critical developmental elements of eye-to-eye contact, smiling, soothing vocalizations and tactile stimulation to babies and parents.
Our philosophy of infant massage is based in traditional practices, common sense, and human physiology and science from such pioneer researchers as Ashley Montague, Marshall & Phyllis Klaus and John Kennell, and Tiffany Field and the Touch Research Institute.
The curriculum we follow is from The International Loving Touch Foundation, Inc.®
Classes are designed for infants and their mothers, fathers, grandparents, and other primary caregivers. Typically the classes are given to groups of 3 or 4 sets of babies/caregivers. A series consists of 4 classes of 75-90 minutes each over a 4 week period. I also offer customized classes which can be individualized to the needs of a particular family, including private lessons. The class fee includes instruction, handouts, a take-home booklet and bottle of massage oil.
 On-Site Chair Massage
I will come to your place of business to give 5 to 15 minute chair massages to your employees or customers. Individual terms and schedules are negotiable but, in general, engagements are booked for two to four hours at a cost of $1 per minute. Additional travel charges apply to locations greater than 15 miles away from my office in Morrisdale.
